Our Training Process
Outfit Life Skills uses the following processes when offering our training services:
PLANNING
Includes the opportunity to clarify the business need, goals, rules and processes relating to the training program. Challenges include scoping the training, aligning training approaches to training needs, clarifying the core competencies of key users and developing a training roadmap responsive to the project constraints (time, budget and resources.)
DESIGN
Includes the opportunity to develop training materials that are practical, interactive and relevant to the needs of the intended participants. Challenges include the clarification of learning outcomes, the selection of appropriate and balanced training tools and the development of interactive activities and competency-based assessments.
IMPLEMENTATION
Includes the opportunity to implement the training plan through the management of the training program. Challenges include the piloting, delivery and continuous improvement of the program, the implementation of training systems (scheduling, bookings and records) and the recruitment, development and management of training personnel.
REVIEW
Includes both pre- and post-training analysis. Pre-training analysis involves the review of an organisation’s existing training framework and programs for improvement opportunities. Post-training analysis involves a post-implementation review of the training program’s effectiveness and addresses issues associated with the transition into the business. Challenges include the development of robust tools and procedures to ensure sustainable training delivery, working directly with the business to train their internal trainers and the integratation of the training project into the business-wide training system.
The key deliverables achieved through this training process are detailed here.
